Hydrogenated pyrolysis gasoline is pygas that has passed through a hydrogenation unit, where its unstable dienes are removed. The result is a stable, high-aromatic cut usable both as a gasoline blending component and as aromatics extraction feedstock — unlike raw pygas, which forms gum in storage.
