Pumice is a light, porous aggregate of volcanic origin. Its low weight and insulating behaviour make it suitable for lightweight block, lightweight concrete, roof insulation and drainage. In agriculture it also serves as a growing medium and as a conditioner for heavy soils. Bulk density and sizing are the two specifications an order turns on.
