PVC impact modifier and thermoplastic rubber base
Today's Chlorinated Polyethylene Compound (CPE Compound) price depends on grade, tonnage and destination port. Request a quote to get today's price — we reply within the same business day.
Chlorinated polyethylene has two main markets: as an impact modifier in PVC profile and pipe, and as a thermoplastic rubber base for hose, cable sheathing and durable sheeting. The chlorine content (typically 25% to 45%) decides whether the product behaves more like a plastic or more like a rubber. An important safety point: in a fire or when over-heated in processing it releases hydrogen chloride gas, so adequate ventilation is essential.
| Chlorine content | 25–45% |
|---|---|
| Grades | PVC impact modifier · TPE base |
| Density | 1.10–1.30 g/cm³ |
